Studio 8 HK is a Hong Kong-based publishing company dedicated to fine art and photography, with a special focus on alternative subjects, including the LGBT genre. Founded by Norm Yip to showcase his photography of Asian men, Studio 8 HK is a modest operation with book distribution through Amazon and Bookazine (USA).

FLUXE is Norm Yip’s debut zine, born from his journey back to Canada to care for his mother with mixed dementia. Blending photography, gardening, writing, and collage, this heartfelt publication offers a glimpse into the creative pursuits that brought moments of joy and self-expression during his care-giving journey.

The Asian Male – 2.AM is Norm Yip’s second book, following the success and interest of his first edition. A selection of Asian men from Hong Kong, USA, Japan and more are included, representing a wide array of stunning men and photography.

Beaux Magazine - V1
Beaux Magazine is a single publication featuring photography, art and culture. It is pictorial in nature, with a focus on photography of beautiful Asian men from photographers around the world. Beaux is a soft-cover edition using perfect binding measuring 18 x 24 cm printed on matte finish paper.

S8 - Volume 0
This is small publication that was done in collaboration with Open University, with the help and assistance of several key persons including photographer Steffan Leyshon-Jones and Royal Photographic Society member photographer Chan Sai Ho.

Beaux Magazine - The Original Digital Versions
The original Beaux Magazine was a collaborative effort with fashion stylist/director Patryk Chaou in creating one of Hong Kong’s first digital magazines. Five bi-monthly publication were the result that garnered a small group of dedicated followers.
